Service Provider: Du Nord Gravestone Restoration (“we,” “us,” or “our”)

By scheduling or authorizing gravestone cleaning services from Du Nord Gravestone Restoration, you agree to the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

Scope of Services

We provide non-invasive gravestone/headstone cleaning using gentle, industry-approved methods and materials. Services may include:

* Surface cleaning of gravestones, headstones, or monuments
* Removal of biological growth (e.g., moss, lichen, algae)
* Rinsing and basic cosmetic improvements (not restoration)

Client Responsibilities

You agree to:

* Confirm you have legal authority or permission to request cleaning of the grave site.
* Provide accurate location and identification of the gravestone.
* Notify us in advance of any known damage, fragility, or historical designation that may affect cleaning.

Service Limitations

* Gravestones are often old and made of porous or fragile material (e.g., marble, sandstone, slate) that may degrade over time.
* Biological growth and weathering can conceal cracks or existing damage that may become visible or worsen during or after cleaning.
* Not all staining or discoloration can be removed safely.

Liability Disclaimer

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Du Nord Gravestone Restoration is not responsible for any damage or deterioration that occurs during or after the cleaning process. By hiring us, you acknowledge and agree that:

* Cleaning may expose pre-existing structural weaknesses or damage.
* Some materials are inherently fragile and may chip, flake, or degrade even under gentle cleaning.
* We use industry-recommended, non-abrasive cleaning products and methods, but results are not guaranteed and vary by material, age, and condition.
* You assume full responsibility for any changes in appearance, surface condition, or integrity of the gravestone that may occur as a result of the cleaning.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Du Nord Gravestone Restoration, its owners, employees, and contractors from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, or losses arising out of or related to the gravestone cleaning service.

Payment Terms

Payment is due in full before completion of service unless otherwise agreed in writing. No refunds will be issued after services are rendered.

Cancellations and Rescheduling

Please notify us at least 24 hours in advance to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations may incur a fee.

Photographic Documentation

Before and after photos may be taken for documentation and quality assurance. These may also be used for promotional purposes unless you request otherwise in writing prior to service.
